Dilys Beeston, contributed to Swift Annual 4, 5 and 6 (1957-59), Robin Annual 6 (1958) and wrote three books for children in the late 1950s/early 1960s.

She also appears to have written a number of books/stories for the Initial Teaching Publishing Co., Ltd. in a series known as 'The Downing Extension Readers' with Faith Graham (credited as Faeth Graeham). These were produced using the initial teaching alphabet, a 44-symbol system based on the forty sounds used to create the English language (according to Sir James Pitman).
