Rebellion Releases — 23 June 2021

The sword-swinging Black Beth is back by popular demand in a stunning one-shot special!

Written by Alec Worley (Star Wars) and with stunning art from DaNi (Coffin Bound), Black Beth and The Devils of Al-Kadesh stars the warrior-woman first developed in the early 1970s by an unknown writer and Spanish artist Blas Gallego. After appearing only once, ten years later, Beth sliced her way into our reality in the Scream! & Misty Halloween Special in 2018. Now she’s back with her own special issue!

Beth and her blind aide, Quido, have traveled to the wicked city of Shadrivar, in search of the evil witch Anis-Amuun. Many think that she is long dead, but a mage called Estevan believes otherwise. He charges Beth with a quest to destroy the witch, initiating a sea-spanning quest which pits Beth’s curved blade against all manner of mystical creatures – and possibly Anis-Amuun herself!

Out today in the UK and next month in the US, Black Beth and The Devils of Al-Kadesh is a breathtaking one-shot in the vein of Sergio Toppi and guaranteed to delight and thrill! Includes back-up stories by Alec Worley, Andrea Bulgarelli, Doug Graves and Vincenzo Riccardi, plus pin-ups by David Roach and Andreas Butzbach.
