The Vulture part 1
In September 1950, Lilliput magazine, published by Hulton Press, produced a parody of its recently launched sister paper, the Eagle. The digest-sized magazine was edited by Richard Bennett at the time and Bennett was quick off the mark to take a dig at the goody-two-shoes aspects of Eagle. The script was by Richard Osborne and the artwork by Arthur Horner, later the creator of Colonel Pewter.

How fascinating! This parody seems to be many years ahead of its time. I wonder how it was received.
