Peter George Cover Gallery

An author whose life was as interesting as his novels, Peter George was widely travelled and worked for the RAF. Most will know him as the co-screenwriter of Dr Strangelove, directed by Stanley Kubrick, based on an earlier novel by George, Two Hours to Doom (aka Red Alert), but he wrote a number of other excellent novels under his own name and the pen-names Peter Bryant and Bryan Peters. I believe some of his Boardman novels appeared in hardback only, hence the gaps in the cover gallery below. There was a biography in the works as of 2015, but I've not seen any mention of it in recent years, and a planned reissue of all his novels seemingly came to nothing beyond the re-publication of Dr Strangelove.
