Thank you so much for this: I was an avid reader of World of Wonder in the 1970s, from the beginning until it disappeared. I always had great memories of it, but thought that I would never see it again! Really grateful.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting these....I hadn't realised how many of the vivid illustrations from that publication that have been carried in my head all these years.. Your postings inspired me to trawl out any old copies still around my home (I find that am still in possession of around 100 issues..)
ReplyDeleteWoW was a huge part of my childhood and the basis of a general knowledge that has (apparently) impressed folk throughout my life.
Still haven't found a particular WoW (I think McBride) pic that I've been seeking though.. :)
