I'm not sure if you've said who drew this particular Paul Temple story Steve, but would I be right in assuming that it was drawn by the great Phil Mendoza? (it's hard to distinguish his signature from the 'Maz' of Albert Mazure - especially as I can't enlarge the images on my computer!).
The artist is John McNamara whom I wrote up some info. on here. There was a reprint that wrongly credited it to Mendoza, but these are all signed "Mc."
And thanks ... I'm still tired and full of cake but I had a good time.

Thanks Steve - that explains my confusion. I thought I'd seen it credited to Mendoza a few years ago in The Menomonee Falls Gazette.

Hi Phil,
ReplyDeleteYes, The Menomonee Falls Gazette credited Mendoza but I don't think he was ever the artist. All the MFG strips I've seen are all signed "Mc."
