Another day, another author...
Agnes Booth -- Agnes Clara Booth, to give her full name -- lived in West Worthing, Sussex, after the war. She wrote a number of novels ranging from the adventures of a dashing Canadian half- English, half-Indian pilot named John Smith (Red Eagle) to a schoolgirl mystery set in a co-educational school (The Forest Mystery).
She contributed to various annuals, including Adventure Stories for Girls (Odhams, 1956), Ideal Book for Girls (Dean & Son), the Daily Mail Annual for Boys and Girls and the Cherry Ames Girls Annual as well as Swift Annual 2.
