10 February. John Freeman has been running a series of mini-tributes from creators celebrating the upcoming birthday of 2000AD. Those participating have so far included Alan Grant, Garth Ennis, Arthur Ranson, Andy Diggle, Rufus Dayglo, Gordon Rennie, Simon Guerrier, Jon Haward, Michael Carroll, Kev Hopgood, Richard Starkings, Paul Scott, Garen Ewing, Chris Denton, Dave Taylor, David Bishop and Martin Baines.
10 February. Graham Kibble-White, author of The Ultimate Book of British Comics, appeared on a not-for-TV edition of the BBC quiz Pointless - possibly the first comics-related appearance on a quiz show since David Bishop appeared on The Weakest Link, which was broadcast way back in May 2008. (Not counting Jonathan Ross...)
