More on Multiverse

I've a little more information about the new comics' news magazine mentioned in today's Comic Cuts column. Multiverse is a new title from Mike Conroy, ex-editor of Comics International. The 16-page 'Issue Zero' sampler pictured is ready to go and the first issue, which will run to 48 pages plus covers, is due to be released in time for the MCM Expo which is to be held at ExCel in London's Docklands on 29-31 October.

The new title is being co-produced by Mike and Barry Renshaw, founder of Engine Comics and former editor of Redeye magazine who also worked on Comics International towards the end of its run.

The MCM (that's Movie Comic Media) Expo is also playing host to the Eagle Awards this year, to be presented on Friday, 29 October at 7.30 pm. This is a ticketed event (£15) but also includes food and drink. Tickets will be available shortly according to the Eagle Awards website.
