Noah's Ark Annual

This was a children's annual from the early- and mid-1930s containing stories for youngsters about animals and often featuring some gratuitously cute colour illustrations like the one that heads our column.

  1. Hi Steve
The covers look great, any famous artists within? I'm reminded of Lawson Wood whom I liked as a kid - humorous chimps and all!

  2. Hi Norman,

I didn't have much time to look into the contents as I was busy snapping away at covers with my camera. But I seem to remember Louis Wain had some pictures in there. I don't recall seeing any Lawson Wood, although he definitely turns up elsewhere at the A.P. (Playhour Annual, for instance).
